Feb 24 - Phoenix Marathon - Goal of sub-2:40

April 7 - Emigration 10 - Goal of getting in a good workout while getting back into things after Phoenix

May 27 - Stillwater Half Marathon (MN) - Goal of 1:14

Summer - Maybe a 50k again, but not too seriously.

September 16 - Berlin Marathon - Goal of sub-2:35

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy, make improvements, eventually get under 1:10 in the half marathon and 2:30 in the marathon.

Personal:

I am a bioengineering PhD currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah, where I design neurosurgical approaches for treating movement disorders.


I'm lazy about copying over from Strava, so find me over there in the mean time. Training is going well and I'm keeping the mileage slightly lower for a marathon build in the interest of consistency and really high-quality workouts.

14 on JRP around 2:30 PM. 13 at 6:57 AP then 1 mile very slow to recover from the beating the sun gave me. Pace was fine, but 95F with 97 "Real feel" made it harder to stomach 13 semi-fast miles.
