Stay healthy, make improvements, eventually get under 1:10 in the half marathon and 2:30 in the marathon.
I am a bioengineering PhD currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah, where I design neurosurgical approaches for treating movement disorders.
I'm lazy about copying over from Strava, so find me over there in the mean time. Training is going well and I'm keeping the mileage slightly lower for a marathon build in the interest of consistency and really high-quality workouts.
24 laps on the U of U track with barriers forcing people into lane 4 for half of the track. Estimating that I averaged about on the edge between 2 and 3 (cut in on the bends when possible), it would be 6. 2 instead of a hair under 6. 7:10 AP.
